Binksie Services
When Ken Binks the owner of Binksie Services needed a compact high horsepower lightweight reliable engine to power a trailer mounted crane he turned to the experts, EIP Diesel . Ken needed an engine that would mount underneath a tri axle trailer just forward of the axles but still needed good ground clearance without sacrificing its ability to produce enough power to power the PK40002-EH D the largest truck / trailer mounted crane manufactured by Palfinger of whom he is NSW’s primary dealer. He contacted his namesake at EIP Diesel, Kenny Fackler, who after much diagnosis recommended a Deutz BF4L914 as being the ONLY engine available to satisfy all of Ken’s requirements .
The Deutz is a purely air cooled engine so there was no concerns about road debris puncturing a radiator unbeknown the operator leading to premature failure . As can be seen from the photographs Ken’s staff fabricated an exceptionally strong cradle to mount the engine and hydraulic power pack and get it as far off the ground as was physically possible by removing and remote mounting the air cleaner assembly .
So if you have a requirement for unique bespoke truck and or trailer mounted hydraulic power plants / cranes you can contact Ken Binks on 98975411 or email him at ken@binskie.com.au or alternately if you have a requirement for just the engine contact Kenny from EIP Diesel at 0438 412 222 or email him at ken.fackler@www.eippowersolutions.com .
